Energy consumption of transport sector in Finland

In Finland, domestic transport consumed about 170,000 TJ (47,230 GWh) of energy in the form of fuels in 2021, of which road traffic accounted for about 93 percent (Statistics Finland, Energy statistics). The share of transport in Finland's total energy consumption was approximately 15.5 percent in 2021.
