Energy consumption of transport sector in Finland

In Finland, domestic transport consumed about 161,500 TJ (44,860 GWh) of energy in the form of fuels in 2023, of which road traffic accounted for about 92 percent (Statistics Finland, Energy statistics). The share of transport in Finland's total energy consumption was approximately 16 percent in 2023.
